The Director of the Department of Early Childhood and Family Services is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and is tasked with planning, directing, and overseeing the operations and comprehensive services of the Head Start Program.  The Director is required to manage systems to ensure the effective, efficient, and timely delivery of high-quality services to 1,317 children, and their families, in a eleven county service area (seventeen (17) centers) This role involves setting program goals and developing policies and procedures that align with federal, state, and local requirements and foster continuous quality improvement.
