BHK’s Family Support Specialist supports families with children between the ages of prenatal-5 years old by encouraging family engagement, child development, and overall family well-being.
Support parents as their child’s first and most important teacher
Engage in mutually respectful goal-oriented partnerships with families to promote parent-child relationships and family well-being.
Facilitate activities that support families’ strengths, interests, and needs.
Support families in using community resources that enhance family well-being and children’s learning and development.
Looking for empathetic, dependable individual who enjoys working with families and:
A minimum of an associate degree in human services, social work, or related field (child/family development, psychology, or nursing)
Knowledge and experience in child development, family dynamics, or adult learning principles a plus
