The Head Start Education Supervisor is responsible services provided to low-income children and their families to become self-sufficient and prepare for the public-school system. This includes direct supervision of teaching staff. Observes and provides assistance to teaching staff in the classroom with planning developmentally appropriate activities. Ensure assessment information is being uploaded to appropriate database(s). Provides in-classroom coaching and mentoring to teaching staff on best practices. Provides support to teachers on the implementation of all aspects of lesson planning. Ensure teacher compliance with all childcare licensing standards.
