This is a full-time position with the hours of 8am-5pm in a mixed age infant/toddler classroom. The child/staff ratio is 2 teachers with 8 children. The teacher is responsible for the care, supervision, interaction, lesson planning, documentation, assessment, and parent communication for the children in the classroom. All NC DCDEE and Office of Head Start requirements must be maintained. We offer health benefits, retirement benefits, and paid time off, and a competitive salary.
Per the Office of Head Start, the COVID-19 vaccine is required. There is an option to apply for a medical or religious exemption.
NC Early Childhood Credentials are required.
We prefer an Infant/Toddler Certificate or CDA and previous childcare experience.
