Miami Valley Child Development Centers is a non-profit Head Start and Early Head Start program that focuses on providing early learning experiences to prepare children for kindergarten and school success. We serve children from birth to five years.
CLASSIFICATION: Full-time/Full-Year. Non-Exempt.
BASIC FUNCTIONS: Ensures compliance with the Head Start Performance Standards and MVCDC Service Plans, Policies and Procedures. Responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for infants and toddlers. Supervises and evaluates other classroom staff. Measures children’s progress in accordance with Federal outcomes. Ensures compliance with ODJFS, USDA and Health and Sanitation Regulations. Ensures the implementation of the agency designated curriculum.
MINIMUM CREDENTIALS: CDA with a commitment to complete an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Experience working with Infants and Toddlers.
SHIFT: 1st shift hours between 7:30am – 6:30pm (varied) Monday - Friday

SALARY: Base salary compensation will be commensurate with meeting both Education and Experience.
