The Director of Family Services, Health & Nutrition provides high-quality health, mental health, nutrition, parent engagement, and social services to Head Start infants, toddlers, and preschool children and their families.

The Director of Family Services, Health & Nutrition builds partnerships with families to assist them in identifying their own goals, strengths, needed services and support systems and in developing strategies and timetables for achieving their own goals. Responsible for eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment and attendance.

The Director of Family Services, Health & Nutrition coordinates family-focused services and integrates them with child-focused services to provide comprehensive programming to enrolled children and their families to deliver and monitor program compliance with the Head Start Performance Standards and other federal and state regulatory agencies.

Desired Qualifications:

• MSW or Licensed Clinical Social Worker

• Five years or more experience working with families in an early childhood environment preferably Head Start.

• Familiarity with trauma informed care for families
