This position provides high-quality, responsive caregiving and educational experiences to enhance school readiness that comply with the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education requirements and Head Start Performance Standards in an Early Head Start setting. 

Hire on Bonus $3,500

Minimum education – Completed an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education

EDUCATION/TRAINING: 
Minimum: Infant Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) OR a state awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirements for a CDA credential.

Preferred: Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development or baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with focus on infant and toddler development.

Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education.

EXPERIENCE: 
Two years of infant/toddler teaching experience or two years within a NC licensed 5-star child care facility/program. Early Head Start/Head Start experience preferred.
